It is very easy for God to do big things. It is not quite as easy for God to find people who can handle it when God does those things through them.

God has great plans for Hanover. That is why He is preparing the hearts of the people in our city. We should get to know Him much better and continually come into greater conformity with His heart.  Then His love will drive all of our concealed motives for ministry far out of our hearts, our unity with Him and with each other will grow, and God can entrust us with the greater works that He wants to do through us.

From the Word…

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. –Psalm 139:23-24

Is there anything that God is pointing out to you that offends Him?

Prayer Points:

We pray that under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we:

• know more and more the fatherly nature of God and learn to rest in Him;
• recognize and let go of everything that hinders us from growing in Christ and abiding in Him.
• will replace all false motives of our hearts with godly motives.
• would confess any sin in our lives.
