If there’s one thing that is clear about Jesus’ mission in His first coming it is that He didn’t just come to save us from hell. Over and over again He taught that He came to give life. The reality is that without God a person is a “dead-man” walking. Such a person may be “existing”, but their existence is just as limited and confined in an eternal sense as that of a person serving time on “death row” awaiting the death penalty.

To truly know life, and know it as God intended requires receiving the pardon of God through the work of His Son Jesus. That is God’s dream. That every single one of us is not only saved – but are transformed by His grace and mercy.

It is sad that even so many Christians live outside the realm of this transformation because they haven’t fully embraced the life God offers.

• Pray the Holy Spirit will continue to teach us and lead us into the abundant life Christ promised us.
• Pray that the entire gospel message will be clearly spoken when opportunities come to share it with unbelievers.
• Pray that not only will individuals experience life transformation but that our entire community will experience life transformation.
