Yesterday was about the life transformation that God dreams for every single one of us. As more and more people embrace the abundant life that Christ offers then it becomes contagious. I believe one of the keys to revival is when people are living in the manner that God intends for us to live. It is infectious and spreads like wildfire. This results in another of God’s dreams being fulfilled. That in the power of the Holy Spirit and through victorious living, we become world-changers. On this last day of the 50 Days of Prayer and Fasting we must believe that what each one of us have prayed for individually and together as a church has been heard in heaven and God is and will respond!

Think about it…

In this progression of scriptures we see the command of Christ to His followers to take the gospel to the whole world, and the provision of the Holy Spirit in giving the power to do so. Christ called His followers to be world-changers and the Holy Spirit equipped them and equips us to do so. Have you ever wondered what it was like for the disciples on that Day of Pentecost?

Prayer Points:

• If you’ve never received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as described in Acts 2 spend some time in prayer for it.
• If you have received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit pray to be filled anew. It is good to continually seek to be filled with the Spirit.
• Pray that each person in Christ’s church in the community of Hanover will be world-changers.
• Pray that each church will impact our community in the way God has called us to.
• Pray that in time our community will impact our province, our nation, and then the world as it becomes transformed by the power of God and the Gospel.

Take Action!

This is the last day of the 50 Days of Prayer and Fasting. Please take some time at some point in the next couple of days to reflect on what has happened to you personally through this journey. Have you seen any answers to prayer? Have there been any changes in your life? It’s important that we celebrate together some of the things that God has done. For Parents…

Ask your children about the 50 Days of Prayer and Fasting and if they’ve learned anything through the experience. Perhaps they’d like to share their story with Pastor Darren to? It’d also be a good idea to share their story with their Sunday School teacher and perhaps have it shared in Sunday School Class to encourage the other children!
