About Us

About HPC Online!

HPC Online is the internet presence of Hanover Pentecostal Church. We’ve created this website as a way for people thinking about visiting our church to learn more about us and also as a resource for members and attenders of HPC to help keep in touch with what’s going on. Here’s some highlights of what this website has to offer.

• Audio and text of our pastor’s messages (and occasionally from others who may speak at HPC). You can find the latest message posted on the front page or you can access a list of the messages via the Sermons link on the menu bar.
• Also via the front page: a quick list of ministry times and locations, some links to ways in which you can get involved in ministry at HPC, a list of news/announcements, and a list of upcoming events. Oh, and I almost forgot! There is also in the box at the top of the page the latest posting from our pastor’s Church Blog, “Pastor’s Perspective”. A full listing of all the postings is located via the “Resources” link.
• In the footer of every page is a verse of the day and a quote of the day (both provided by heartlight.org). There is also a poll that will be rotated from time to time. You can interact by voting your response to the question in the poll and see a tallied list of all the responses that have been given.
• In the “About” section (where you are now) besides filling you in about HPC Online, you’ll also see in the submenu bar a list of links to learn more “About HPC”, “Our Story”, “Our Vision”, “Our Pastors & Staff”, and “Our Beliefs”.
• In the “Get Involved!” section there are various links illustrating various ways in which people in the church can get involved in ministry.
• Via the “Ministries” link you will discover different pages describing the various ministries available at HPC.
• Of course the “Events” link will take you the section of the website that lists all the upcoming events and activities taking place at HPC. There you can also access an online calendar that displays everything in a handy dandy format which you can feel free to print and post on your fridge! And finally there is also an event sign-up form where you can sign up for conferences, training sessions, or other events that require registration.
• The “Resources” section of the site is where you can find the Sermons Page, Pastor’s Perspective (Our Pastor’s Church Blog), Family Helps (List of resources that are intended to help families), and Good Links (a list of links that we think are useful, in categories of course!). There is also a page linked in this section that will help those of you who don’t know what a podcast is discover how it works.
• The Extra Link takes you to various extra resources and pages available on the site. There is a search page, a polls archive (listing of all the polls and their results that we’ve had on HPC Online), an archives page (listing all the various posts made - by date and category), some legal stuff and any other extra stuff we may put in there from time to time.

As you can see, there’s quite a few things available here at HPC Online! One last thing, on many of the things found on this site there are places where you can leave a comment. Feel free to interact with what you read and respond to things you find here. We’d love to hear what you have to say!
