We just received an email from Gord and Anita Cooledge with the following: We have some exciting news in that the Registration for Cornelius Hope Academy Primary School, on the grounds of Village of Hope, has been given a Registration Number and is officially allowed to open as of April 2nd! Thank God for this answered prayer!

In their words... Our new house mom Irene, has been sent from God! Her skills as a Nurses Aid and her natural abilities as a mom have allowed our Village kids to relax, talk and move forward in their relationship with God and in confronting their hurtful pasts. Debra has been blessed by the help and relationships are good in the house.

In their words... With the provision of more funding for the school, we are forging ahead with building the Administration block and another two classroom blocks of 3 classrooms each, in the New Year. Materials began arriving at the Village this week. Our Registration for CHAPS (Cornelius Hope Academy Primary School) is still in process but reports are promising. The school is so needed in the community, where the next closest school is 15 km.
